Where Do I Start?

Pick your level — the guide adapts to where you are. No judgment, everyone starts somewhere.

Your 4-step onboarding
Start with one compound, one goal, one injection per week. Add complexity only after you know how your body responds.
1
Read the Compounds tab
Get familiar with the 9 compounds. Pick ONE that matches your primary goal — weight loss, energy, or cognitive performance.
2
Order your supplies
You need: insulin syringes (31G), bac water, alcohol pads, sharps container. The mini fridge is optional but recommended.
3
Learn to mix and inject
Read Mixing first, then Injecting. Watch at least one YouTube video from the Resources tab before your first injection.
4
Track your first cycle
Explore a synthetic weight, amount and mood example in My Cycle. Entries are saved in this browser, not submitted by the guide; storage is not encrypted or a clinical record.
Golden rule for beginners: Dose and treatment decisions require a licensed provider. Side effects can occur even without rapid escalation; compound-specific adverse effects and serious warnings still matter. Approved-product safety context

MOTS-C Protocol

Mixing

10 mg vial + 2 mL bac water = 5 mg/mL. A 2 mg dose = 40 units on a U-100 syringe.

20 mg vial + 2 mL = 10 mg/mL, twice the concentration of 10 mg in 2 mL. Arithmetic only; not a dosing recommendation.
Schedule

Mon / Wed / Fri · fasted morning preferred · SubQ belly or thigh. Run 4–8 weeks, then 4 weeks off.

Stacks with: SS-31, NAD+, KLOW-80.
⚠ Watch for low-blood-sugar signs (shaky, sweaty, lightheaded) if you're also taking a GLP-1. Not FDA approved. Prohibited in sport (WADA list).

NAD+ Protocol

Mixing

1000 mg vial + 5 mL bac water = 200 mg/mL. A 70 mg dose = 35 units on a U-100 syringe.

1000 ÷ 70 ≈ 14.3 nominal portions (14 whole portions). This arithmetic does not establish a schedule, usable vial lifespan or stability.
Schedule

4× / week · Mon / Wed / Fri / Sun · morning preferred · SubQ belly or thigh. Start lower (25–50 mg) to assess tolerance.

$100 / 1000 mg vial. Keep mixed vial refrigerated.

KLOW-80

Community evidence

Recovery blend: GHK-Cu (50 mg) + BPC-157 (10 mg) + TB-500 (10 mg) + KPV (10 mg) = 80 mg per vial. Used for injuries, skin, gut inflammation.

Dose & Mix
80 mg vial + 3 mL bac water.
Start 2–3 mg (8–11 units), typical 4–5 mg (15–19 units). 5 days on / 2 off.
Watch For
Local stinging or redness may occur, but appearance or a fixed duration cannot establish a harmless reaction. The blend’s preparation and reaction assessment require qualified review.
$100 / 80 mg  ·  BPC-157 and TB-500 are WADA banned for tested athletes.

Semax — Focus & Memory

Built from a fragment of ACTH. Raises BDNF (brain growth factor). Approved in Russia for stroke and cognitive problems. Used as a nasal spray for focus, memory, and mental stamina under heavy workloads.

SubQ — Mix
10 mg + 2 mL bac water = 5 mg/mL. A 200 mcg dose = 4 units on a U-100 syringe. Use a 31G insulin syringe.
Dose & Schedule
200–600 mcg SubQ, mornings on an empty stomach. 2 weeks on, 1–3 weeks off. Belly or thigh — rotate sites. Start at the low end (200 mcg = 4 units) to assess tolerance.
⚠ Can overstimulate — take it early, skip caffeine when you first start. Avoid with anxiety or seizure history. Not FDA approved.

Triple Agonist

Eli Lilly's once-weekly GLP-1 + GIP + Glucagon receptor agonist. Hits three receptors where Ozempic hits one.

⚠ Investigational in the US; research-market aliases such as “GLP-3” or “RT” do not verify identity or approval. FDA status

How it works

GLP-1
Turns down appetite and slows digestion — you feel full sooner.
GIP
Helps blood sugar and amplifies the appetite effect. Its strongest target.
Glucagon
Tells the liver to burn stored fat. Cut liver fat 80%+ in trials.

Dosing

Start: 0.5–2 mg Typical: 2–8 mg Max: 12 mg

Stay at each dose at least 4 weeks — takes about a month to feel it. Step up only if needed. Smaller people start 0.5–1 mg. 2–4 mg = steady loss. 8–12 mg = if you have a lot to lose. Maintenance: most hold at 1–2 mg. Always let vial reach room temperature before injecting — cold stings more.

Most people never need the max. Find the lowest dose that works, and stay there.

Trial Results (TRIUMPH-1, 80 weeks, 2,339 people) — sponsor efficacy estimand

These original bars report the sponsor efficacy-estimand release (May 2026). The TRIUMPH-1 report (2026) reports treatment-regimen mean reductions of 17.6%, 23.7% and 25.0% in the 4, 9 and 12 mg arms versus 3.9% with placebo. Different estimands answer different questions; these are trial observations, not dose recommendations.

Watch For

  • Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea — mostly in weeks after a step-up. Going slow cuts it.
  • Skin tingling or sensitivity — about 12% at 9–12 mg.
  • Rise in resting heart rate.
  • Never hungry and barely eating? Poor intake needs qualified clinical assessment; it does not by itself establish an excessive dose or authorize a self-directed adjustment.

What to Expect

Most people go through the same rough phases. Everyone's timeline differs — treat this as a map, not a schedule.

🌱
Weeks 1–2
Settling In
The drug is building up. Don't expect dramatic scale changes yet. Some people feel mild nausea, fatigue, or reduced appetite right away — others feel nothing. This is normal either way. Focus on consistency: same day, same time each week.
Scale may not move yet Stay hydrated Hit protein targets now
📉
Weeks 3–6
First Real Changes
Appetite suppression becomes consistent. Most people see their first meaningful weight drop here. Food noise quiets down. Portions shrink naturally. Watch out: easier to under-eat protein when nothing sounds good.
Protein is critical here Scale trending down Don't rush a dose increase
🔥
Months 2–3
Main Burn Phase
Most consistent fat loss window. The glucagon agonism is making a difference — liver fat drops, energy improves for many. If you need to step up dose, this is when you know. If 2–4 mg is working, stay there. Bigger ≠ better.
Add resistance training Track weight weekly Don't skip a dose
🏁
Months 4+
Plateau & Maintenance
The body adapts. Slower loss is normal and healthy — it's not stalling, it's stabilizing. The goal shifts to holding lean mass and locking in habits that outlast the drug. Many people start stepping back toward maintenance doses (1–2 mg).
Don't panic over plateaus Focus on body composition Plan your off-ramp

When Loss Stalls — Try These First

1
Track protein for 3 days
Plateaus have multiple possible causes. Protein intake and lean-tissue preservation deserve assessment, but a plateau does not diagnose protein deficiency or establish preferential fat retention.
2
Add or intensify resistance
Even 2× a week of bodyweight or band exercises can break a plateau. Muscle is metabolically active — more of it burns more fat at rest.
3
Check sleep and stress
Cortisol spikes from poor sleep drive hunger hormones up and fat storage up. 7–9 hours is a real lever.
4
Wait 4 weeks before adjusting dose
The drug takes time to reach steady state at any level. A plateau at week 2 of a dose is not a reason to step up — give it the month.

How to Mix a Vial

Use a 3 mL filling syringe. Work on a clean surface, go slowly, never touch the needle or rubber tops after wiping.

Bevel entry schematic

Original source schematic: the shaft is about 32.6° to the horizontal despite its 45° label. No universal clinical angle is established; geometry and bevel technique remain pending qualified review.

  • Rubber septum
  • 45°
  • Bevel up
Why bevel-up at 45°

The slanted face of the needle tip ("bevel") acts like a chisel. Pointing it up lets it part the rubber cleanly rather than coring a plug out of the stopper. Entering at 45° reduces resistance and limits stopper damage — once fully through, you can straighten slightly to draw.

1
Warm up and wipe
Let both vials reach room temperature. Cold powder dissolves slowly — tempting to shake. Pop caps, wipe tops with alcohol, let dry.
2
Draw the bac water
Vial standing flat: push in as much air as the water you'll take. Flip it, keep tip in liquid, pull to your amount.
3
Go in at 45°, bevel up
Hold needle at ~45° slanted side facing up. Push through rubber, then straighten slightly. Protects the stopper.
4
Tilt and run down the glass
Tilt vial ~45°, aim tip at the inside wall. Push slowly so water trickles down the side. Hard spray makes it foam.
5
Swirl gently, don't shake
Roll between fingers or swirl slowly until fully clear. If powder remains, wait a few minutes and swirl again.
6
Draw a dose
Flip vial, keep tip in liquid, pull to your units. Tap out bubbles, re-check the line. Push in air first if plunger pulls back.
Mix it gently
Swirling is the default. One split vial tested 96.4% (unshaken) vs 93.1% after a week of hard daily shaking.
Label the date
Write mix date on every vial so you know when it expires (~4 weeks). Include toss date.
Bad batch?
Visually inspect every vial — seal intact, powder dry and white, lot number on vial matches the COA. When in doubt, don't use it.

MG vs Units — The Most Common Confusion

MG (Milligrams)

The actual amount of peptide you're taking. This is the dose — e.g. "2 mg retatrutide."

Units (on a U-100 syringe)

U-100 reference calibration: 100 markings correspond to 1 mL only on a confirmed U-100 scale. These are volume markings, not peptide biological units or a universal pen conversion.

The formula
Units = (MG ÷ concentration) × 100
Example — NAD+ 1000 mg vial + 5 mL bac water = 200 mg/mL
Dose: 70 mg → 70 ÷ 200 × 100 = 35 units
Example — MOTS-C 10 mg vial + 2 mL bac water = 5 mg/mL
Dose: 2 mg → 2 ÷ 5 × 100 = 40 units

*Pens max at 60 units; use a 1 mL syringe for larger doses. Run any new vial through the formula above before first dose. Vial sizes may differ — always check what you received.

Label every vial
Write peptide, mL of water added, and mix date.

For confirmed U-100 calibration only, 100 reference marks = 1 mL; other devices/scales are not interchangeable.
Double-check

Belly — schematic site marker only; the red dashed circle is not a validated anatomical boundary. Product-specific instructions and individual assessment govern site selection.
Front thighs — middle-outer, a hand above knee and below hip.
Back of upper arm — fleshy area. Easier with a pen than a syringe.
Avoid: belly button, scars, bruises, moles, waistband area.

Where to inject

Belly
Not universally preferred. Distances and site selection are product-specific; finger widths are not a fixed substitute for measured distance.
Front of thighs
Middle and outer front, a hand's width above the knee and below the hip.
Back of upper arms
The fleshy part. Hard to reach yourself — easier with a pen.
Upper buttocks
Upper outer area. Rarely needed, but it works.

By Peptide

Retatrutide, tirzepatide, cagrilintide
Belly, thigh or back of arm
Absorbs about the same from all three. Most use belly — easy to rotate.
Tesamorelin
Belly only
FDA label says belly — that's where it was tested.
KLOW / GLOW (BPC, TB-500)
Belly or thigh
Spreads systemically — no proof "local" is better. Copper stings, spread spots out.
CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin
Belly
At bedtime, on empty stomach. Same shot for both.
MOTS-c
Belly or thigh
Some prefer thigh to keep belly spots free for daily peptides.
Thymosin Alpha-1
Belly, thigh or arm
Twice a week — easy to rotate.

How to give the shot

1
Clean
Wash hands. Wipe spot with alcohol pad, let dry 30 seconds.
2
Pinch
Gently pinch an inch of skin and fat. With a 4 mm pen needle you can skip this.
3
Insert
Quick and straight in at 90°. Very lean, with an 8 mm syringe? Use 45°.
4
Push slowly
Press plunger all the way, slowly. Slower stings less.
5
Hold
Count to 10 before pulling out (pens especially) so full dose stays in.
6
Rotate
Next shot at least an inch away. Skip scars, moles and bruises. Don't rub after.
Rotate like a clock
Pick a spot, move clockwise each shot. The dashed red circle is the 2-inch no-go zone around your belly button. Rotating stops lumps (lipohypertrophy) which make doses absorb unevenly.

Cleaning & Needle Disposal

1
Alcohol Prep
Use 70% isopropyl alcohol pads. One pad = one use — never re-wipe a spot with the same pad. Let dry fully before injecting (wet alcohol stings and can carry contamination in).
2
Cap Safely — Never Recap Blind
Use the one-hand scoop method: set the cap on a flat surface, slide the needle tip in, then lift and press down. Never hold the cap in your other hand while capping.
3
Sharps Container
Drop used needles directly into an approved sharps container. Fill it no more than ¾ full. Regular trash or recycling is illegal and dangerous. Thick-walled laundry detergent jugs work if you don't have one.
4
Dispose Safely
Drop full containers at a pharmacy, hospital, or fire station. Find your closest drop-off at safeneedledisposal.org — most are free.

1
Cartridge Window
Clear panel showing the liquid. Watch for bubbles, cloudiness, or color changes — if anything looks wrong, don't use it.
2
Dose Dial
Turn to your dose in units. Never dial past what's left in the cartridge — the dial won't go further, but forcing it damages the pen.
3
Plunger / Injection Button
Press all the way in and hold for a full 10-count before pulling out. Letting go too fast leaves dose under the skin underjected.
4
Pen Needle (32–33G × 4 mm)
Screw on a fresh needle before every injection. Never leave a needle attached between doses — it lets air in and drug out.

Step-by-Step: Using the Pen

1
Inspect the cartridge
Check through the window. Clear and free of particles? Good. Cloudy, discolored, or particles floating? Don't use it.
2
Attach a fresh needle
Peel the outer foil, screw onto the pen tip, remove the outer then inner caps. Never touch the needle after removing the cap.
3
Prime the pen
Dial 2 units, point needle up, tap the cartridge, press the plunger until a drop appears at the tip. Repeat if no drop. Removes air bubbles.
4
Dial your dose
Turn the dial to your dose. Double-check the display window. It should click and feel firm — if it spins freely, check for damage.
5
Prep the skin
Alcohol wipe, let dry 30 seconds. Pinch 1–2 inches of belly (or thigh). No pinch needed with a 4 mm pen needle.
6
Insert and inject
Insert straight in (90°) in one smooth motion. Press the plunger all the way down slowly. No need to pull back and check for blood.
7
Hold 10 seconds
Keep your thumb on the plunger, count to 10 before withdrawing. This ensures the full dose is delivered — not just the last drop.
8
Remove needle and store
Remove the pen needle with the outer cap (use the one-hand scoop method), drop into your sharps container. Put the pen cap back on and refrigerate.

Two-needle setup

One filling syringe pushes peptide solution in. A second needle (the "escape needle") in the same rubber top lets air out as liquid goes in — no pressure build-up, no sputtering. Both can share the top at once if you use 25–30G and keep them apart.

1
Fill your syringe
Draw the reconstituted peptide into a 3 mL syringe (25–30G needle). Remove any air bubbles.
2
Insert the escape needle
Push a second 30G needle into the cartridge's rubber top — this is just to vent air. Keep it off to one side.
3
Inject slowly
Insert the filling syringe next to the escape needle. Push the plunger slowly and steadily — a smooth push prevents back-pressure and foaming.
4
Remove both needles and label
Pull both needles out at the same time. Cap the cartridge, label it with peptide name, concentration, and mix date. Refrigerate immediately.
Use fresh pen needles
A reused pen needle dulls in one shot. The tiny barb tears skin and hurts more each time.
Never leave needle on
Between doses the needle acts like a wick — air gets in, drug seeps out.
Store needle-free
Replace cap and refrigerate without a needle attached after every injection session.

Protein Is Not Optional

GLP-1 drugs cut your appetite hard. If you don't eat enough protein and use your muscles, a big share of the weight you lose comes from muscle — you end up smaller but weaker.

Warning Signs

Check the vial before you mix, after you mix, and before every dose. When in doubt, throw it out — a new vial costs far less than an infection.

The powder

Good

Dry white powder or solid white "puck." Can look shrunken or stuck to glass and still be fine.

Toss it if:
  • Yellow, brown or any odd color.
  • Looks wet, sticky or clumped.
  • Glass is cracked or cap/seal is loose, torn or missing.
  • Lot number doesn't match seller's test results.

The liquid

Good

Clear like water. Exception: KLOW and GLOW are blue from the copper — that's normal.

Toss it if:
  • Still cloudy after 15–20 min in fridge and a gentle swirl.
  • Floaters, specks, strings or sediment.
  • Color changes over the following days.
  • Won't dissolve or turns thick or gel-like.

The vial over time

Good

Still clear (or blue for KLOW/GLOW), within 4 weeks of mixing, kept in the fridge.

Toss it if:
  • Past ~4 weeks since mixing, or bac water is past 28 days.
  • Was frozen after mixing or left out warm for hours.
  • Goes cloudy or gets specks after being clear.
  • A needle or the rubber top was touched or dropped.

Your skin and body

Normal

A small bump, redness or sting is not automatically benign; appearance and timing alone cannot rule out infection or another adverse reaction.

See a doctor if:
  • Spreading or worsening redness warrants clinical assessment; do not use a two-day waiting rule.
  • Spot is hot, hard, very painful or oozing pus.
  • Red streaks run from the spot, or you get a fever or chills.
Call 911: hives, swelling of the face or throat, or trouble breathing.

When in doubt, throw it out. A new vial costs less than an infection.

Coming Soon to Peptide Connect. This guide covers what Korean pink glutathione is and how it's used. Product availability may vary — check the site for current stock.

Korean Pink Glutathione

The master antioxidant — reduced L-glutathione in high-concentration injectable form. Exact comparative bioavailability for the displayed oral and SubQ formulations was not established; oral, topical and injectable evidence is not interchangeable.

What is it?
Tripeptide: Glutamate + Cysteine + Glycine

Glutathione (GSH) is a tripeptide your body already makes — it's the primary intracellular antioxidant. Levels naturally decline with age, stress, illness, and poor diet. Korean "pink" glutathione refers to high-dose reduced L-glutathione packaged for SubQ injection, popularized in Korean and Southeast Asian aesthetic medicine for skin luminosity, detox support, and cellular protection.

Master antioxidant Liver support Skin brightness Immune support Mitochondrial protection

Protocol Card

Mixing
Typical vials are 600 mg or 1200 mg lyophilized powder. Add 2–3 mL bac water.
600 mg + 2 mL = 300 mg/mL
A 200 mg dose = ~67 units on a U-100 syringe (use 1 mL syringe).
Dose & Schedule
Starter: 200–400 mg, 2–3×/week SubQ.
Maintenance: 100–200 mg, 3–4×/week.
Morning or post-workout preferred. Belly or thigh. Cycle 4–8 weeks on, 2–4 off.
Units calculator — 600 mg vial + 2 mL bac water (300 mg/mL)
100 mg dose → 33 units
200 mg dose → 67 units (use 1 mL syringe)
400 mg dose → 133 units (two draws or 2 mL syringe)

Why "Korean Pink"?

The "pink" branding comes from the rose-tinted vials common in Korean cosmeceutical packaging — not a different molecule. What distinguishes Korean-sourced glutathione products is typically: higher concentration per vial (600–1200 mg vs. 200–300 mg Western standard), cGMP-grade purity testing, and sometimes combination with Vitamin C or Alpha Lipoic Acid for synergistic effect.

BEST STACK
Glutathione + NAD+ + MOTS-C = comprehensive cellular defense and energy optimization. Glutathione handles oxidative stress while NAD+ and MOTS-C drive mitochondrial output.
VITAMIN C SYNERGY
Vitamin C (ascorbate) regenerates oxidized glutathione back to its active reduced form. Many protocols pair 500–1000 mg oral Vit C on injection days to extend effect.

Evidence & Safety

✓Safety is formulation-specific — endogenous occurrence and historical clinical use do not establish this injectable product’s safety. FDA’s August 27, 2026 warning describes injectable ingredient/endotoxin risks.
✓Skin-pigmentation evidence — small oral/topical studies have important limitations and do not establish the displayed SubQ regimen or a predictable cosmetic result. Systematic review (2024 online / 2025 issue)
~Performance / longevity — preclinical data strong; human trial data limited but growing. Most high-quality evidence is for IV administration, not SubQ.
ℹOral supplement comparison — matched absolute-bioavailability evidence for the quoted standard, liposomal and SubQ percentages was not established. Oral biomarker changes are not equivalent to absorption fractions or injectable efficacy.
⚠ Not FDA approved for SubQ use in the US. Thyroid interaction possible — some practitioners monitor TSH with long-term high-dose use. Not a whitening product per se; skin effect is dose- and duration-dependent. If you want it for performance, pair it with NAD+ and MOTS-C.

Stacking Protocols

Start with one compound for a full cycle. Add a second only once you know how the first affects you.

🏋️ Body Recomposition Stack
Retatrutide or Tirzepatide + MOTS-C + 5-Amino-1MQ
GLP-1 medicines have indication-specific clinical evidence; MOTS-C and NNMT-inhibitor mechanisms do not establish muscle preservation or fat-loss benefit for this three-agent combination. Introducing agents separately does not establish combination safety.
⚡ Longevity / Energy Stack
NAD+ + MOTS-C + SS-31 (± Glutathione)
These agents relate to different mitochondrial/redox mechanisms. A combined longevity or energy benefit, need for added glutathione and safety of this stack are not established by the reviewed human evidence.
🧠 Cognitive Performance Stack
Semax + NAD+
Semax raises BDNF for focus and memory formation; NAD+ supplies the cellular energy that brain-intensive work burns through. Both taken in the morning.
✨ Skin & Cellular Defense Stack
Glutathione + KLOW-80 (GHK-Cu)
Glutathione handles systemic oxidative stress and skin tone; GHK-Cu in KLOW-80 drives collagen synthesis and wound repair locally. Pair with oral Vitamin C.
🏃 Athletic Performance Stack
MOTS-C + SLU-PP-332 + NAD+
All three improve mitochondrial capacity and endurance via different pathways. ⚠ MOTS-C and SLU-PP-332 are WADA banned — not for tested athletes.

Why Lose Weight? The Clinical Picture

A 10–15% reduction in body weight produces measurable improvements across nearly every metabolic health marker. These are the numbers from clinical trials.

Blood pressure (systolic)↓ 5–10 mmHg
HbA1c (blood sugar control)↓ 1–2%
Triglycerides↓ 20–30%
CRP (systemic inflammation)↓ 30–40%
Sleep apnea severity (AHI)↓ 25–35%
Knee joint load↓ ~4× body weight lost
Major cardiovascular events (SELECT; semaglutide)↓ 20% relative hazard vs placebo (HR 0.80)
SELECT studied semaglutide 2.4 mg in adults ≥45 with established cardiovascular disease, BMI ≥27 and no diabetes. Its endpoint was cardiovascular death, nonfatal myocardial infarction or nonfatal stroke (6.5% vs 8.0%; HR 0.80, 95% CI 0.72–0.90). SELECT (2023), NCT03574597. Published online November 11, 2023; issue December 14, 2023. This is not a tirzepatide result or a universal effect of weight loss. Other displayed outcomes require matched trial/population review.

Payment methods: Venmo, Bitcoin & USDT / ERC-20

Venmo is an account-based payment service, not a Bitcoin or Ethereum wallet. A display name or QR image does not establish account ownership or authorization for a particular sale. Venmo distinguishes authorized business and purchase arrangements from ordinary personal transfers; consult its goods-and-services guidance.

Bitcoin uses its own network and fluctuating asset value. USDT on Ethereum is an ERC-20 token; USDT also exists on other networks, which are not automatically compatible. The original USDT/ERC-20 card and QR remain intact in the source archive. A past network label is not a current instruction to send on that network.

Digital wallets, networks & the words that matter

A wallet address identifies a destination; a transaction reference identifies a record. Neither is an approval to pay a particular business. A familiar logo, matching token name or correct-looking QR is not proof of who controls an account.

Wallet and custody
A wallet manages access to assets and signing keys. With a custodial service, access depends on the provider and its account rules. With self-custody, protecting recovery material becomes the holder’s responsibility.
Asset versus network
BTC on the native Bitcoin network is different from a token representing Bitcoin on another network. USDT is issued on multiple networks; an ERC-20 presentation means Ethereum, not every network carrying a similarly named token.
Address and network compatibility
Both sender and recipient must support the exact asset and network. An address format by itself does not prove that a provider supports a deposit. A wrong-network transfer may be unrecoverable; recovery is not a service guarantee.
Transaction hash
A transaction ID or hash identifies a blockchain record. An exchange withdrawal reference may initially identify only the provider’s internal request. Ask which kind of reference you are reading.
Order reference
The PC reference identifies the request in Peptide Connect. It is not a transaction hash, proof of payment or private lookup capability. Keep the private capability separately.

The original three-step walkthrough is retained as a learning path: understand an exchange quote, compare custody choices, then read a transaction record. There is no universal ten-minute setup, best provider or guaranteed confirmation time.

Step 1 — Understand an exchange quote

  1. Identify the actual asset, supported network and service available to your account and region.
  2. Read the full quote: asset quantity, fiat cost, spread, service charge and any later withdrawal fee. “Buy exactly the order amount” can leave less than expected after charges.
  3. Complete the provider’s required account and identity checks. A short setup estimate is not a promise that verification or withdrawal will be immediate.
  4. Keep the quote or purchase receipt distinct from a later transfer record. Buying an asset does not pay a merchant.

The provider references below explain their products; they are not endorsements, affiliate links or instructions to fund a Peptide Connect recipient.

Coinbase

An exchange account is custodial: the provider controls the account infrastructure. Check the supported asset and network for your specific account, your location, identity requirements, the quote and withdrawal terms. A token name alone does not establish network support.

Coinbase supported assets and networks ↗

Crypto.com

Deposits and withdrawals have asset-specific networks, confirmation requirements and fees. An exchange balance, an on-chain transfer and a completed bank withdrawal are different records. Check the product and region you actually use rather than assuming every service has the same features.

Crypto.com deposit and withdrawal reference ↗

MoonPay

A purchase service is not a way to bypass identity checks. Account, identity and eligibility requirements apply; payment methods and availability vary. Review the final quote and required verification before making any decision. The original “no account needed” shortcut is not a reliable general rule.

MoonPay identity verification ↗

Exodus

Self-custody gives the wallet holder responsibility for recovery material and device security. It does not make a transfer private, reversible or suitable for an unverified recipient. The recovery phrase can restore access to the wallet; an app password is not a replacement for that backup.

Exodus recovery-phrase reference ↗

Fees, confirmations & what “sent” means

A provider may charge a trading fee or include a spread in its price, then charge for a withdrawal. Network fees are a separate concept. Compare the amount the recipient would receive with the total cost, not just a headline exchange rate. Current quotes and account-specific disclosures matter more than an old “best rates” claim.

Bitcoin inclusion depends on network conditions and the transaction’s fee competitiveness, among other factors. A broadcast transaction can have zero confirmations. A block confirmation is evidence of network inclusion, not a promise of a particular business outcome. Ethereum transaction inclusion, success and finality are also different states. Neither network guarantees the original guide’s fixed one-to-five or ten-to-thirty-minute timing.

A block explorer can help inspect a record, but a screenshot or link supplied by a sender is not independent receipt verification. Staff should check the network record and the actual receiving account. Bitcoin payment-processing reference · Ethereum gas reference.

USDT vs BTC — understanding the trade-offs

QuestionBTCUSDT
What is it?The native asset of the Bitcoin network. An issuer-backed token intended to track the U.S. dollar, issued on multiple networks.
ValueIts fiat exchange value fluctuates. A fiat quote and asset amount are different quantities.A dollar peg is an objective, not a guarantee that every token can always be sold or redeemed for exactly $1.
CostsNetwork fees and any provider charges depend on the transaction and service.Network gas and provider charges still apply. Ethereum ERC-20 transfers use ETH for gas in self-custody.
NetworkNative BTC and representations on other networks are not interchangeable. The precise network and supported token must match; “USDT” alone is insufficient.
RisksPrice volatility, key loss, scams and transfer mistakes.Issuer, reserve, redemption, network and depegging risks as well as key loss and scams.
Privacy / recoveryPublic network records do not provide automatic anonymity or a built-in merchant refund.Public network records and provider controls do not guarantee privacy or recovery.

The useful question is which asset and network an independently verified, eligible transaction actually supports—not which is universally “easiest.” Tether’s issuer terms describe restrictions and redemption conditions.

Wallet security & common mistakes

Never share passwords, one-time login codes or wallet recovery phrases. Keep private financial details out of inquiry notes and public messages. For an existing record, retain its date, amount and reference privately. Verify unexpected payment requests through a contact channel you already trust.

  • Check the recipient and network independently; do not trust a copied QR, unsolicited support message or familiar display name alone.
  • Watch for look-alike domains, clipboard address replacement and fraudulent “verification” or recovery requests.
  • A recovery phrase controls access to a self-custody wallet. Do not give it to someone claiming they need it to release a payment or restore an order.
  • Cryptocurrency transactions can be public and are generally difficult to reverse. Digital assets can lose value; do not treat a currency label as a guarantee of privacy, price or recovery.

Exodus documents common wallet scams; the FTC explains cryptocurrency and scam risks.

From request reference to verified payment

A request receipt acknowledges a submission. It does not confirm payment, allocate inventory or schedule a shipment. Payment verification and inventory approval are separate staff decisions. A saved reference alone does not establish that funds were received.

  1. Request received: keep the PC reference and private status capability. The original price snapshot stays with the request.
  2. Evidence submitted: an external transaction reference is a claim to investigate, not verified funds. An operator can record it privately with a reason and audit history.
  3. Payment verified: authorized staff reconcile the actual receipt. Partial receipts must not appear paid in full.
  4. Inventory approval: a separate authorized action rechecks stock and allocates it atomically. Payment evidence does not automatically allocate or ship.
  5. Refund or dispute: review, actual refund evidence and inventory release are separate events. Editing a status does not move money.
